Brief description of hydrothermal alteration subtype kaolin deposit

Release date:2018-09-28  source:中南选矿网  Browse times:662
The hydrothermal alteration subtype kaolin deposit is mainly related to the middle-late volcanic activity of the Mesozoic in eastern China. Most deposits occur in the volcanic rocks of the Jurassic system. This type of deposit is widely distributed in China, mainly distributed along the Jurassic-Cretaceous volcanic belts in the western Pacific Rim of the eastern China and the northern margin of the North China. The more famous deposits include Guanshan, Suzhou, Jiangsu, Ruian Xianyan and Songyang Fengdong, Fujian Dehua Jinzhukeng, Jilin Changbai Malugou, Hebei Xuanhua Shalingzi and other kaolin mines.
Most of these deposits occur in the Mesozoic volcanic rock development area, and the fault structure and more interstitial interpenetration are favorable mineralization factors. The altered zoning is obvious, and the hard secondary quartzite forms a raised cliff on the topography. As a higher temperature alteration mineral, Dikai stone sometimes appears in mineral deposits; sometimes kaolinite is associated with pyrophyllite and alumite; sometimes it is used as an external alteration zone of endogenous metal deposits. The eastern edge of China's eastern Guangdong from Guangdong and Guizhou to Liao, Ji, and North China is a favorable area for finding such deposits.
